The Children’s Oncology Group (COG) will be transferring legal and fiscal sponsorship from the Public Health Institute (PHI) to the COG Research Foundation in the coming months. COG will conduct clinical trials as an independent operating organization through the COG Research Foundation. As of 1/1/2025 any new collaborations with industry partners for sponsor-initiated (aka fully funded) trials will be initiated/negotiated by the COG Research Foundation. Existing studies will be transitioned to the COG Research Foundation over the coming year. Our commitment to COG’s mission and scientific agenda remains steadfast throughout this transition. |

Why Collaborate with COG?
The Children’s Oncology Group is committed to working with industry partners to develop effective new treatments for children with cancer. COG scientists have expertise ranging from clinical trial design for children with cancer, pediatric clinical pharmacology, and childhood cancer biomarker development and utilization. Partnership with COG can leverage a global pediatric research infrastructure, with experienced clinical investigators at more than 200 sites.
